Frequently Asked Questions
After-hours care is intended for urgent medical concerns that arise outside regular office hours but don't require emergency room care. This includes persistent high fevers, moderate injuries, severe cold or flu symptoms, infections, significant pain, and flare-ups of chronic conditions. If you're experiencing life-threatening symptoms like chest pain or difficulty breathing, please call 911.
Simply call our regular office number, and your call will be directed to our after-hours service. A provider will assess your situation over the phone and determine if an after-hours visit is appropriate. If so, we'll arrange a time for you to be seen as soon as possible.
After-hours visits typically take place at our designated after-hours clinic location, which may differ from our regular office. In certain circumstances, such as for established patients with mobility limitations, we may be able to arrange a home visit. The provider will discuss the most appropriate setting during your initial call.
Most insurance plans cover after-hours medical visits, though they may apply an additional after-hours or urgent care fee. We'll verify your coverage when you call, and our staff will explain any potential out-of-pocket costs before arranging your visit.
Our after-hours service is available weekdays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and weekends and holidays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. These hours may vary on major holidays, so please call to confirm availability.
